Monday afternoon, a woman was thrown out of the car and shot at in Fuquay-Varina, N.C.


Yesterday, the woman was seen in a car with another man, her boyfriend.


They were driving on Walapai Drive and Sippihaw Oaks Drive when her boyfriend pushed her out of the car and shot her in the leg, then sped off.


A resident of the area, Jim Cibella, was outside taking the trash out when he heard a loud noise.


The neighborhood is near Judd Parkway and N.C. 55.


He told the police “I heard a thud and a young girl hit the pavement. Hit the pavement hard.” He assumed she had been hit by a car. He also witnessed the woman’s boyfriend speed off in the car.


The woman is 30 years old. She could be heard screaming from pain. Cibella went by her to help her until police arrived at the location.


When Varina Police arrived, they transferred the woman to the hospital.


Her boyfriend, 31-year-old Rayshone McNeil, was reportedly seen in a black BMW car.


Police later found the car, however, he was not in it.


They believe he is escaping to either Holly Springs or Willow Spring.


Authorities continued to search for McNeil and are asking people with any sort of information to contact the Fuquay-Varina Police.
