MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Today, May 22nd, there was a horrible accident around 5:30 in the morning.
A vehicle driving close by the Wake-Durham County line hit a person walking by the area. Nobody knows who the person is yet.
Although it has not been confirmed if the person was killed in the accident, it has been reported that there was a body on the floor of the scene.
On the I-540 WB, in the middle of Interstate 40 and N.C. Highway 54, the lanes were blocked off by investigators and police offers for hours.
It is not clear yet if they are charging anybody for the incident. More information will be available later on as authorities continue to investigate the case.
