Hyundai teases the public with pictures of the 2022 Tucson.
Not far off from the Vision T, the Tucson has headlights that integrate within the grille. The “sensuous sportiness” design is also similar to the new Elantra.
The Parametric Hidden Lights, the name given from Hyundai, adds a futuristic look. The appeal might just affect other manufacturers to do the same.
The rear reveals a thin light of light, just brushing under the rear window. The vertical pieces of the taillights differ from the Vision T.
The light features add a sense of balance to the compact crossover.
Appearing like a typical Hyundai, the “Parametric Dynamics” spark the eye. What is this new and fabulous design? you may ask. It has flare!
SangYup Lee, the Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center said:
“We want our customers to feel moved. Tucson’s advanced, experimental design is true to its pioneering spirit and raises the game in the industry’s most competitive segment.”
Comparing to the 2021 Tucson, the 2022 version will have a wider and larger body. The company didn’t release any other specifics. This includes dimensions.
Let’s now move on to the “Interspace,” as Hyundai calls it. With only one release of the interior, the design is exquisite. Similar to the Tesla Model 3, the air vents slide across the dashboard!
The infotainment is slick. It protrudes nicely, depicting its presence.
The next-gen car will be available worldwide. This includes both long and short-wheelbase models. The US market expects to only get the long version.
When will Hyundai release their new design?
When will the 2022 Tucson debut? The car’s release will take place on September 14th at 7:30 PM ET.
Where can you find it? None other than Hyundai’s website. Be sure to check out the specific features and details that they did not release yet. The suspense!
