Raleigh, North Carolina – Seven people got injured in a multi-vehicle crash in downtown Raleigh over the weekend.
The driver named Clinding-Pulley ran a red light, hit another vehicle and crashed into a group of pedestrians.
The crash occurred in Downtown Raleigh, near the intersection on West Edenton and North Salisbury streets.
The driver of 18-year old is a beginner and got his driving license about a month ago. He claims not to be responsible for the crash. He assumes the light was green.
He said he hit his face on the steering wheel and when he looked up he saw a woman all in blood on her face.
The young driver cannot forget the scene of the crash.
He said every time he goes to sleep, he closes his eyes and the picture of the lady under the car keeps coming to him.
After the dreadful crash, five people were taken to the area hospital. Fortunately, none of the victims had life-threatening injuries.
Two of the victims stayed at the hospital on Tuesday night.
According to the police report, the charges are pending against Clinding- Pulley.
